Uncertain Times

The uncertainty of our times calls for somber recognition of how dangerously close the US is to falling into a cataclysm of no return. We have allowed a transformation from our guiding principles of our founding to succumb to a ruthless demagogy of unprincipled subjugation of the masses for one's own personal gain. Never before have we allowed an elected official blatantly disrespect a nations sovereignty, cultures and. their people. And yet the rhetoric only continues.

We are in a time of our own making. And this past Presidential election proved once again how far the US has been led down a path that would have been unthinkable 65 years ago. There has been an obliteration of the ethical standards of the rule of law that has allowed the unthinkable to become a reality. Do we dare allow the transgressions of political expediency to remain unchecked cementing our dive into the Dark Side of Star Wars fame, or do we as a collective society have the resolve to stand together to repute and repel any and all acts of totalitarian autocratic governance? This remains to be seen.

To trace how the US has slid down that slippery slope far removed from the future that was supposed to be promised to us by generations past is a tale of seeping corruption, disingenuous domestic and foreign policies, and horrific Supreme Court rulings of the last 60 years. The great inequality arisen has kept the United States from fulfilling its destiny that our Founding Fathers forged for this nation.

To restore the balance in American society where 75% of our population obtains Middle Class status that entails $70,000 to $110,000 incomes is fundamental in securing the vitality, harmony and stability of our nation. Fulfilling the Williams Theory of Economic Evolution is the single most important factor in creating that more perfect union. Today our health and our stability have reached unprecedented dangerous levels. At any moment the survival of our nation as a democratic republic will be called into question.

We have now succumbed to more inner turmoil and income disparity levels. All of which has created the tempests we are now faced with. All created by those unscrupulous individuals who have beguiled the public with false promises. Promises they know they will never keep. We have leaders who now continue to hide behind clocks of deception and deceit for their own personal gain.

What can be done to reclaim our heritage, our balance in our society and remove the infestation that has taken over our government? We have to remind all of us that we must realize what this incoming Trump Administration really intends to do and it's not what would elevate millions of Americans quality of life. We must put a bill before Congress that would stop the insanity of the Trump rhetoric and focus on what would actually bring about that more perfect union. National Economic Reform's Ten Articles of Unification is what would restore the United States integrity and bring balance back into our society. A realistic and balanced approach to unify our splintered nation.

As much as your post is accurate and well thought through, it does ignore the elephant in the room of $US35 Trillion in debt to overseas countries and commitments to institutions like Pension funds, for goods and services already consumed and unfunded by anyone. And thats going backward every year as America continues to live beyond its means. And neither side has anything like a plan to deal with this..😷

I'll say this for Trump. America has for decades pursued her Imperialist Project, a desire to bring other nations under her control. America has waged wars, used soft and hard power, initiated coups, assassinated opponents, all in her drive for colonial power. America is engaged in covert Empire building. By publicly announcing the possibility of taking territory by force, Trump has ditched any pretence at secrecy and has shown exactly what the Imperialist Project is all about. America is the tyrant. As one UK journalist put it, Great Britain is still part of an Empire, but it's the American Empire.

Until the last paragraph I thought you were referring to the horrors of the Biden years.

@laotzu92 Yes it was a good description of the last 4 years.

A most interesting analysis and well worth the read to see the way the points are developed in a reasoned way with historical context.
