You think this damages Farage? He handed the Presidency to Trump and he can use the same tactics to put Farage in power.

@Northwest In terms of his support: No. Farage literally owns the Reform.part because it's a limited company in his name. I also have a cult-like following. It's not as big as Trumps in terms of the populace but he is a hero figure within his own sphere.
It means Farage will get less money to campaign with.
The main takeaway is (as usual) how entitled and clueless Elon Musk is.

I believe it's a mistake to dismiss Musk as a clueless egotistical maniac.
He's very smart and determined, but lacks a moral center.
Everyone is coming out with a theory to explain the Harris loss: It's the economy stupid. No, it's immigration. No it's woke'ism. No, it's .....
I believe it's everything, and nothing. But mostly, it's about what each person thinks is somewhat important.
The key factor is: how can one deliver to me, personally, a pitch that addresses my concerns, in a way that enforces my biases.
Musk owns that delivery mechanism, and more importantly, owns 100% of the data that the classification, and identification as well as the "approach" is based on.
He will also not be shy about spending hundreds of millions to get this done. It's about control for him, and controlling the narrative. The Brits will not know what hit them. Just like "we" did not.
The only way to wrest control from him, is to stop buying his fucking cars. They are overvalued anyway.

@Northwest He is clearly smart in some ways and not in others. I agree about his morals.
He's apparently unhappy with Farage because Farage distanced himself from Tommy Robinson. This isn't surprising because Farage has always been careful to distance himself from people like him and present a respectable face on right-wing politics.
To say that Farage isn't the right person to lead reform is a stupid thing to say because:
A) Farage owns the party and is also a very established figurehead. His base loves him.
B) He's also a very effective politician. Brexit wouldn't have happened without him, he's arguably ended the careers of two prime ministers and taken a party from nothing to fifteen percent of the vote in a few years.
C) When other splitters on the far right split from him and stood against him, they lost comprehensively in a European election.
I don't like Farage but he is very effective in his own terms.
