Honestly when it comes to Oil I'm also pissed off at Big Oil and the Oil Refineries. Our Refining infrastructure is to put it mildly antiquated, which is an understatement. I believe technically they might be able to process Light crude, but those refineries do a much better job with Heavy crude.
The oil executives need to spend on CapEx really to modernize our Refineries, Right now those of you who aren't in the know are like Drill baby Drill, but the truth of the matter is that while we are a huge Oil producing nation in the united states, we still use OPEC Heavy Crude because our Refineries were built like in the 1950s. They aren't Broken, sure, but they desperately need to be modernized to process Light Crude.
