Can anyone confirm or deny?

Overseas reports say that the US shot down one of its own aircraft during an attack on Yemen. According to those reports 1 FA-18 was shot down with no fatalities. Both aircrew survived with minor injuries.

@FreestyleArt I first saw it in an article out of India. After I asked the question I saw it reported in American media. I guess it was true.
