I was watching a Star Wars marathon with a friend of mine, and I was deeply disturbed at his behavior.

We got to "Return of the Jedi," and he cheered when Emperor Palpatine died. Literally cheered. I was so disturbed at his lack of empathy. I had to remind him that Palpatine was a human being with a family.

It's okay, somehow he gets revived into a decrepit zombie man

Understand your concern.

As a kid, my dad watched many a movie with me....especially the horror movies and the westerns. He often reminded me that we were watching a "movie" and that nobody died or got hurt. After their job was done, the actors took a good bath then went out for dinner.

That worked for me.

For whatever reasons there are, the world is losing its humanity.

This happened a long time ago in a galaxy far far away ,,,,,,so why is in politics?

Oh is it a reference to Trump?!

Maybe he understood it was just a movie?

@Kenworth4954 And maybe you misunderstand the point I'm making, or maybe you're intentionally misunderstanding it.
