What possible explanation could trump have for not calling off the Jan6 insurrection?

Instead he watched it all unfold while snacking in the WH kitchenette.
And all he had to do was follow what everyone was telling him which was to tell everyone go home.

I wonder why only the 2021 protest at the capital is an insurrection and the 2018 protest is just an expression of the first amendment

@backhome I wasn't aware of armed insurrectionists attacking the capital, attacking police, looking to lynch the VP in an attempt to overthrow a legally elected government occurred back in 2018. Maybe it didn't make the news?
