Like all the other parties with proxies in the country they will all take as much as they can get and hold.
Bibi wants his "greater Israel" and Erdogan wants all of Syria for his new Ottoman empire delusions and the US and France frankly probably don't give a shit if the whole country burns to the ground as long as whatever is left doesn't get in the way of their geopolitical games.
