@CedricH Oh I wouldn't say diverge. There are just a few where I don't know enough to have an opinion (Rhodesian Bush War, etc).

@sarabee1995 That‘s a fair point, White settlers who ruled the country fought a multi-decade long counter-insurgency against armed Marxist/African nationalist revolutionary groups (ZAPU & ZANU). In the end, international pressure led to a transition agreement that turned the country over to Robert Mugabe, the leader of Zanu-PF. He was a vile despot who orchestrated Zimbabwe‘s transformation into a tyrannical failed state.
So, what I would‘ve wanted isn’t necessarily the victory of the White Rhodesians but a different agreement that could’ve protected a liberal-democratic constitution as well as rights, protections and freedom. More akin to the end of Apartheid in South Africa.
