Soooo, it occurs to me foreigners are kind of obsessed with american politics.
Why is it theres no up your butt politicking for the foreigners?

Used to be the case that where America led much of the free world followed.
Involvement in aid programmes.
International rescue missions.
Free trade and travel agreements etc.
That meant a lot of American companies with manufacturing plants; superstores and satellite industries in other countries.
And then back in the mid-80's it became clear that both U.S. parties were selecting and electing the worst possible candidates for President.
Specific men with agenda set by a select group in their specific party.
That meant declaring needless wars in dangerous places and expecting 'allies' to support either physically; militarily or economically.
And not having learned the lesson from George Walker Bush's period in office, you then go and elect Trump.
Twice !
ALL the news coming out of America is how Trump is going to kill this; cancel that; everybody's a potential threat; every foreigner is an implied enemy....
All that from the man's own lips and he's not even in the Oval office yet.
So maybe now you get why the rest of the world is on edge at the moment
