I think I went through and answered way too fast. I need to go back through and put some more thought into some of the questions.

@sarabee1995 That’s a surprisingly high percentage of isolationism 😅 for someone with your general worldview.

Bear in mind I've answered to a lot of these as if I were choosing for my country instead of yours.

Especially the questions about state v. central govt (member state v. EU)

@basilfawlty89 *Googling "cure for being 33% conservative" as we speak*

@CedricH Yeah, I was surprised at that myself because I don't consider myself an isolationist at all. That's partly why I think I need to go through at again, but slower.

@Elessar Interesting that you draw an analogy between our States and your Member States in the EU. I see it the same way, but I don't think many do.
Also, I'm surprised you have as much authoritarian in you given the way you talk about authoritarianism.

@basilfawlty89 Oh please! Can't we discuss issues without name calling?? Do you realize how you look when you do this??

@sarabee1995 An analogy just for practical purposes: I believe it would be a mistake to think of the states as a loosely coordinated array of ultimately independent entities, implicitly denying the centuries-long process of centralization; similarly, it would be a mistake right now to think of the EU member countries as the states of a federation (that doesn't even exist yet), trivializing the unification process that is hella far from completion.

I'm not too surprised because clearly (and expectedly) the quiz is modeled after American politics, and consequently several questions are far beyond the range of what's considered "too extreme" here. Example: hitting "disagree" on "the police should be disbanded" probably gave me "authoritarian" points, as if anywhere out of America that'd be considered "authoritarian" lol. And similarly the other way around, iirc there was something about completely eliminating food stamps, that even the most hardcore far-righter here where I am would probably be against, and yet that'd score you "socialist" points over there.

@sarabee1995 it's a joke. I'm very very liberal.
