Will the USA remain as a democracy if Project 2025 prevails?

If someone were to try to subvert the US Constitution would the current US Supreme Court re-direct the submissions back to the tenets of the Constitution - OR is there a 'loophole' where absolute power to the Presidency can be granted??
What is the legal limitation / authority of Congress to maintain the tri-partite "Separation of Powers" in status-quo if a President were to try to shift the balance from rule by legislated law to rule by executive order? From the article in the link, the suggestion is that President Trump will be trying to remodel the government so only his directives will be law and he will be able to act without consulting Congress.

The first link below speaks to "Project 2025" and Trump trying to deny his association to it during the election, but now engaging with its author (and previous Presidential councillor) to forcefully enact a similar strategy as Project 2025 promotes.

@Tastyfrzz Be more concerned that Russia can arrange to ship containers with large nuclear bombs into a dozen of the biggest ports ringing three sides of the US (And why not take out panama while you are there?) And set them all off in the same instant with absolutely no warning, disabling the major populations of the US and taking out a fair chunk of the military communications in a heartbeat.. Follow that with a sub strike and America would be neutered before you even established who started it..😷

@ChipmunkErnie in any case, i just filled my water tanks, and checked that the radios and flash lights work. Have food and warm clothes. If there is an emp out east, it might be a couple days before things come back on. Russia is done for now that the currency has crashed.
He cannot accomplish anything with the land and air based missiles but the sub based ones could mess things up pretty fast. It's suicide, I know, but he is backed into a corner.

@Tastyfrzz My Nuclear physics isnt up to commenting on how good surveilence would be at detecting such things, or the amount of care something like that would take. But it seems difficult to keep it secret..😷
