IF President Trump actually does get the US back...

on the right track and the changes he makes actually benefit our country, the American people, and possibly the world, will any of you lib dems admit to it and start supporting our president?

IF frogs had wings they wouldn't bump their butts on Lily pads.

I've had different discussions with different people (trump supporters) and agree with some of his ideas, but NOT the way he goes about it.

The end never justifies the means.

The other and equally important issue for me, is that I can't abide the man, not in any shape or form, and certainly not as president.

He is, in short, a despicable person who cares not one wit for the people and should not be representing our country.

Everything he does he does for himself.

He belongs in jail and if he weren't so wealthy and didn't have the political/financial clout he does, he would be in jail.

Sorry, I can never support him, or now that I see who he is putting in prominent positions, his administration.

Those people are deranged and beyond redemption. CNN, MSNBC, and The View have warped them beyond repair. Truly shocking how they think.

It would be funny if it wasn’t so true

For sure. And they’ve learned nothing. @Wolfram

Realistically, no.

My guess is the best Trump could do is some short term feel-good stuff that his predecessors would have to pay the price for.

He's practically allergic to everything that's a long term commitment, like wind power, solar energy, and infrastructure, unless maybe Musk or someone like him can sell him on the grift.

Now, if he does some good things that actually do pay off down the road, I might look back on it and give him credit, IF he's not on his 3rd or 4th term and did what he didn't do the first time, i.e., respect the law and the Constitution.

Nice to see you remain open minded.

What do you think happened here?

Get real! They’d NEVER admit to it. They’d rather burn the place to the ground.
@carpediem I'm actually surprised I haven't seen any "protests" yet, are they waiting until the inaugeration?
Last time Trump became president, I said we should give him a fair chance. Welp, look what happened.

Meanwhile, Biden cleaned up Trump's mess, but because you're in a cult, you can't admit that.

The worlds's strongest economy and a place everyone is dying to make home. Why do you MAGAs hate the US so much you want to keep pissing on it?

I think he will have more support from the more moderate dems , but not so much the more libs . The speaker of the house has his support this time .

I am sure some will, though it will take a truly mature human to admit they were wrong. Not sure there are many capable of doing it.
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
This should be good.

You know it’s funny if “the world” starts supporting him I might take it as an interesting point.

But like there’s usually the thing in fantasy land.

I'm sure the ones that will already did. They left the party of insanity and voted for him.
JohnOlinger81 · 41-45, M
I hope he does but I doubt it

The USA is already back! It never went anywhere in the first place! It is only Trump's perception of the USA as it existed back in the 1950's that he is trying to make great again! That ship sailed 70 years ago my friend because those were the days when the USA had not embraced National Debt as being normal which the US does today. Until your National Debt is paid in full, America doesn't stand a chance of being great even to itself, let alone as perceived by the rest of the world.
