The Republican Senators chose Sen. John Thune to become the next Majority Leader. Considering how the populist coterie around Trump vocally supported Rick Scott, this is a good sign indicating that the majority of Senate Republicans still adheres to traditional conservative policy positions.

In other words the Senate still is a snakes den of sniveling rino's

@Msharsh Oh from my point of view the whole MAGA movement is made up of Rino‘s. RFK Jr. (former Democrat), Tucker Carlson (former Democrat), Vance (former Democrat), Tulsi Gabbard (former Democrat), Trump (former Democrat/independent/Reform Party).

@CedricH The MAGA Movement is the We the People base, populist conservatism, many of us coming out of the Teform Party!

@Msharsh You can call yourself whatever you want but populism is nothing but the political equivalent to quackery irrespective of whether it‘s left-wing or right-wing populism. And eventually, it‘ll naturally disappoint, frustrate wither and die.

@CedricH Because you say so?
CedricH · M
@Msharsh No, my words mean nothing. It‘s just an analytical prediction based on what I assess, expect and estimate.
