Trump wants to bypass confirmation hearings and make "recess appointments."

If the GOP goes along with this, Democrats should hold their own hearings outside of Congress.

They should call witnesses to tesify about every single Trump appointee.

Trump is trying to keep his cow dung from seeing the light of day. Democrats must not allow that to happen.

Americans need to know, for example, that Trump's choice to head ICE spoke at an event by a "religious" cult that worships AR-15s. Seriously! And was a guest on a podcast whose hosts lamanted about Adolf Hitler's demise.

As is only CNN covers these Senate hearings. You think they would given the popular vote? 🤷🏻‍♂

Keep in mind they are out for profit.

Yet not a bad idea. The average voter should at minimum hear the qualifications... if any.

Podcasts are far far too small.

That certainly would never happen under Trump. He despises most media as is.

That guy won't be head of ICE this time around. He's been given a made-up job with a made-up title of "Border Czar," reporting to Insurrectionist-Cry-Baby-trump. It's the first sign this is all a "Mexico was going to pay for the wall was just a rally cheer. I never meant they would pay for the wall directly." But, it's still troubling.

That being said, this guy seems like a crazed POS who has a need for people to be scared of him.
