@Northwest In fairness, grasping the real meaning of "President Trump" is beyond anyone yet, since no one really knows what he will do, and who he will have helping. Possibilities include him selling Mars to Elon and declaring Bitcoin the official currency. And we cant know who will stop him...😷

@Burnley123 He convinced 51% of the US voters that the only way we can save the USA is through mass deportations and massive tariffs, to bring manufacturing jobs back.

He can't back down.

I'm sure he sees the foolishness, but he's hoping that the rest of the world is not going to call his bluff.

China is going to do exactly that, and the Chinese/Russians are laughing their tails off, because they're going to get every single concession they want, and then some, by playing along with Trump so he can look like he won.

Do you remember when he got elected for his first term. He said he was going to build a wall and Mexico will pay for it.

Mexico's president said "no, fuck that". Trump called him (before he figured out these calls were recorded), and told him 'why did you do that, of course I don't want you to pay for the wall, I just wanted you to pretend you're going along with'.

Trump is a reality TV star/producer, and that's how he sees politics.

@Northwest WelI did say on another thread that he will probably water down both plans.

Though he has to do something on these lines and that will be bad enough.

@Burnley123 I did not see it, but what I'm saying is that he will try to cut a deal with China, where China will agree to what he's saying, but secretly will do something else. or that he will be his plan, because he thinks Xi can be bullied like the President of Mexico (not that the President of Mexico was).

Xi may agree to "back down", but in return of a strategic stranglehold on Trump and the USA.

If you recall, when he met with Putin in Helsinki, he emerged from that meeting, and announced that Putin is so nice, he will be sending Russian experts, to audit our systems and root out the malware.

If that did not raise a major red flag up the MAGAs spine, I don't suppose anything will.

And I wish I was making this shit up, but it's fucking real and we're so fucking dumb.
