In other news, Oregonians rejected the ranked voting option.

I'd have thought that would have been a no-brainer. I forgot how many of my fellow Oregonians have no brain.

Yep. All elections in Australia are Ranked Choice, called Preferential Voting, and it works just fine.
I'm confused, what's the downside to it?

Or people just don't like change?

@sstronaut There is no downside. It was absolutely a good thing. There would be no more votes thrown away because someone voted for a candidate who dropped out. I legitimately don't understand what the problem is with it.
