Trump won more than the Presidency!

Harris has accepted the loss. Biden will transition peacefully. Republicans will have nearly full control. They said we were the evil ones…the violent ones…pushing our agenda on everyone. We were responsible for every bad thing happening in the world. Yet, now that Trump won, their rage still continues and we are licking our wounds peacefully. Will it ever end?

A fascist regime needs the illusion of constant threats to keep the base in line. People at the base needs to know they're fighting for a just cause; fighting against evil forces. To North Korea for instance the USA is that Evil force.

@eMortalyou are correct the problem is the Orangeman is going to use his own country as his threat …any one that thinks differently is evil
@black4white its like psychiatry appointment. The protection is unreal. Absolutely no self awareness

@black4white Yes, he's ts the President. However: If there are any true Americans in Congress, he will behave. If Congress allows him to run 'The People' into danger, then PERHAPS THIS TIME they will really impeach him.
@JollyRoger like lawfare against political opponents, demonisation of half the country as the enemy, open borders and erosion of free speech? Those kinds of dangers?
JollyRoger · 70-79, M
@PlatonicSquirelFriends No...it's the lack of cohesion between political parties to see to giving the American people (all of the American people) their basic needs. No government should be a threat to its citizens.... And I think you know what I mean: What would likely have happened had tRump not won the election. Just because he is President-elect does not mean that he's changed his spots.

@JollyRoger I wish but it's party over country. No matter how bad it gets. He blamed the dems for everything even when republicans owned congress when he was president. And they still couldn't pass a budget much less meaningful legislation. It's worse now.
@Livingwell True. The Republican Party we grew up with has been gone for a while as it was intentionally steered into more and more extreme waters.

As I have often posted...you know something is wrong when Mitt Romney and Liz Cheney are branded as "too liberal"! THAT tells you how far the Republican Party has veered to the Right.

@Livingwell You noticed that! And also when Obama was President.... He couldn't pass any legislation due to the illogical impass created by Congress. America has suffered long and lost much in stature due to partisan politics. I'd really like to see tRump "make America great again", but I'm just not sure how he's going to be able to do it without doing more harm and losing more international credibility in the process. Let's just hope that he has had an epiphany about how to be a politician (and a diplomat).

Would that that could happen!
