I'm surprised the supposed "liberal" media called it

I woke up reading that WI was called for Trump, and that put him over the edge. Now I look up the numbers and the WI differential is only 30k votes.

Frankly, I am surprised that the so-called "liberal" media was so quick to call it over. Are the really not so "liberal" after all, and perhaps more "objective"?

Dude the writing was on the wall for them , biden was a failed president and even harris did not turn out the way they thought she was going to be for them . The amount of times they attacked trump they lost . So they knew they were going to lose . Its not that hard .

As bad as the US system is, there is no getting past the idea that Trump actually got the popular vote this time out. For the next four years that means something. And probably for a couple of those years the average American wont notice too much difference. But you can only stall consequences for so long..And it will be Americans who will pay.😷

@trollslayer It doesnt matter in the long term. The Americans have decided they can function independent of the global economy. Now they will get a chance to try it..😷

@whowasthatmaskedman The key indicators Americans seem to pay attention to:

1) The price of gasoline
2) Mortgage interest rates
3) Inflation and the cost of everyday goods

Barring a major recession, I doubt any of the three will decline. I am not an economist, but the forecast I read suggests all three will trend upwards. Hope they are wrong.

@trollslayer You are correct. And it all goes downhill from there. But printing scads of money will hold the tide back for while, hollowing out the economy further.
This isnt to say the other side had a better plan. Just a slower death of a thousand cuts.. This will be relatively quick in economic terms if it happens at all..😷

Was blown away by the level that Trump won by. Kamala’s efforts in getting people to vote hardly featured.

Even David Pakman hung it up when PA went to Trump, and he’s about as liberal they get without mouth foam 🤷‍♂

Why surprised? The "liberal" media tend to take the responsibility of reportage seriously and realize they have a responsibility to the people to report the facts. It's the places like Faux News, etc., that lie and contort the truth.

No. They are liberal. To call it for a candidate they factor in the percentage of that district reporting in, how those outstanding districts historically vote, etc…

By that point, he had won Pennsylvania, North Carolina and Georgia. I am speculating they saw the trends and extrapolated that he would win Wisconsin.

@SumKindaMunster That was my thinking. Not just the trend in PA, but exit polling and other national trends.

Trump(45,47) By A Landslide Mandate
@Dino11 One of the smallest winning margins in history. Hardly a “landslide.”
