Make America Great Again: Initiative 1 - Stop being a planetary bully and end wars.

To keep his campaign promise to stop wars, Trump needs to transform America from a rouge hegemon to a benevolent super power. Below is the action plan.

1. Withdraw the US from NATO and end involvement in the Ukraine war.
2. Release frozen Russian sovereign assets held by the US.
3. Shutdown all US foreign military bases worldwide and withdraw assets and troops.
4. Withdraw all US vetoes on UN resolutions on Gaza.
5. End blockade on Cuba and lift US sanctions on all countries.
6. Re-affirm the "One China" policy with Beijing and cease direct US/Taiwan relationship.
7. Stop all defense spending and shutdown the military/industrial complex.

@jehova Why can't it be achieved? Anything less won't make America great again.

@sree251 id like to see it but id be suprised. Gtting anything through the legislature is tough.

This time around, Trump has both a Republican Senate and a Republican House of Representatives, not to mention a conservative Supreme Court. Also, he dominates the Republican Party, and a lot wiser now. I share your doubts. The world is more evil than good.

@sree251 word i agree with those stated objectives. Unfortunately given all those ww2 veterans and ancient legislators; exiting NATO is unlikely. Id like to see some continued support for Ukraine the worlds newest democracy. If all the other points occur our involvement is likely to be unnecessary. Maybe give them (ukraine) old u.s. equipment?

NATO is a prehistoric beast long past its sell-by date when the Cold War ended in 1989. It is being kept alive mainly by the US for dominating the world. This attitude has cost us big bucks to the tune of $35 trillion in national debt and millions of people, including Americans, killed and maimed.

Continued support for Ukraine? I guess our traditional mindset of a world policeman is hard to get rid of. If we don't change, we are going to go broke and be discarded by the rest of the world. It won't take as long as 30 years as predicted by think tank experts. It can happen very fast with a sudden international financial crisis. Worse still, we no longer have national cohesion. Our white Christian cultural core has been cancelled by progressive woke intellectualism. As a people, we are now a hodge podge, a confused mixture, a pot of chop suey made up of American foreign war refugees wedged among whites, blacks, and latinos. And when the bough breaks, the cradle of American exceptionalism will fall.

@sree251 we are already broke i agree to ending our involvement. As i said give old equipment not money. Its a lost cause really ukraine isnt our problem. I agree we should just be done with war for awhile.

@sree251 american exceptionalism is bs and has been since the 60s militaryisn trumped exceptionalism bc of no civilian infrastructure; money wasted\frivolous spending\war funding. Schools cut infrastructure though maintained is outdated. More drugs huge debts. White christian core cancelled itself before it existed. Blame liberal wokeness but it was never all that helpful and so self contradicting. Who cares. NATO is a waate and again blaming anyone other than ww2 veterans in congress who are flashingback to "America's glorydays" is wasteful.
Agree.
