NBC Exit Poll Not Good News for Diaper Don

A nationwide exit poll conducted by NBC today revealed for the first time that the state of our Democracy is the most important issue of the electorate. The Democracy was more important than the economy by 35% to 31%. In third place was abortion at 11%. That means that two of the top three issues are not Donnie's strong suits.

NBC, which is now in hot water for violating FCC equal time requirements by bringing Harris on SNL while offering no such option to Trump. Get out that checkbook, NBC. The fine's gonna be big.

@graphite Point to the spot on your bottom where it hurts.

@MoveAlong Somebody sounds bitter. 🤣

@graphite We've been watching trumps "Rodney Dangerfield" routine for 9 years, being on SNL wouldn't improve it at all. 🤣
Even though Kamala wasn't democratically elected in the primary?

I like it, but 3 syllable words like democracy and communist can mean different things to different people. If Trump says he's pro democracy and libs are fascists, what does this poll mean?
@MoveAlong Is teaching about cultural Marxism mandated yet?

I'd like to think we haven't completely reverted to the good old days of feudalism, but I'm worried that that's where MAGA wants to go.

@MistyCee Exactly. To the Trumpeteer, only Trump can save democracy.

As for your primary comment - primaries are a very recent thing in US history. Parties can choose their nominee however they want. No US law says that they have to have primary elections.
@trollslayer Yeah, I get that about primaries, but it's a Trumpist talking point that illustrates my point.
Whatever you need to tell yourself

I will give Harris credit. She managed to get nominated without one single vote in a primary. Nothing like having the establishment back you like that. Will give her credit there.

@YourMomsSecretCrush Primaries aren't government elections, and are relatively new. They are functions of political parties. Her delegates chose her. She's very popular among Democrats, and it is their nominee.
@Bumbles I give her props. She played the hand she was dealt.

That's where I'm at, democracy is more important than the economy right now
