Charlie Kirk -

I have to admit - I had no idea who this imbecile was until I started hearing his Turning Point ads on the radio this summer. The ads basically were telling young meant to get out and vote and be a leader for their families, with the undertone of making sure their wives vote the same way.

Now we have the recent Lincoln Project ads making the news over the same issue.

The response? Kirk (and others) doing interviews making sexist statements basically saying that men should control their wives - completely validating the Lincoln Project ads. The right wing morons are all up in arms over this. They are focusing on the wife lying, but the fact that a husband would ask a wife whom she is voting for is just as bad as a wife lying about who she voted for. I don't expect my wife to tell me her voting choices, nor would I ask because I respect her autonomy to make her own choices.

So to the guy saying he would divorce his wife if she lied and voted for Harris, she should divorce his sorry ass for making her voting choice his damned business.

Yeah, that ad is problematic from multiple perspectives
Charlie Kirk is a bit of an odd duck. And yeah he has some very problematic politics to be sure and social ideas of a man in their 80s.

I have to wonder if there is also something else going on with the guy. I mean there are times when he has done multiple online interviews, debates, or just guest appearances where he very obviously looks like he has not sleep, or changed his clothing or even showered for days on end.
