We now have a government that might actually fix our broken social care system, improve public transport, boost renewable energy projects massively, start to restore nature, and, most importantly of all, provide affordable childcare again, just like they used to before the Tories ruined everything.

Damn right I'm biased (and so are you, by the way). This election in the US may well decide whether we have any chance of an inhabitable biosphere in the future. The Dems have taken sensible steps towards a carbon-free future with the Inflation Reduction Act (which could have been far better but for one traitorous holdout), and Harris will continue, and will build on it hopefully.

With Trump, we're done for.

Protecting our environment boosts economic growth and improves wellbeing. I don't know about you, but I want a world where there are fewer violent weather events; where public transport is clean, reliable and easily affordable; where our cars are emission-free; where hospitalizations for pollution related illnesses are way down; where single use plastic is eliminated and no longer clogs up our waterways and oceans; and where nature is prioritised and protected.

With Kamala at the helm, the fight will continue. With Trump it's over.

That's not what I asked you. I asked why you did not advocate for the Green party in the US if you are so interested in Climate issues. We have the Green party here, their leader, Jill Stein is running for President here. Why don't you advocate for them?

Yes I care about the climate. But I'm also smart enough to know that Stein has no chance, and if we are to have any chance of safeguarding future generations, then Harris is the only choice. You know it, I know it.

Like it, or not, despite the vileness of the murders, the riots were based on a lie. No one who rioted cared about the girls who were murdered. They rioted because they believed, without evidence, that he was an illegal immigrant and a Muslim (and having al-Qaeda pamphlets does not automatically make you a Muslim; I have a Bible in my house and I am not a Christian) and therefore anyone who was not white was fair game.

And I am happy with the way our country is going, because our last government would have done nothing. This time, the perpetrators were swiftly arrested and received heavy sentences.

Things are looking up in the UK. When Harris wins, things will be looking up for the US and the world.
