@JSul3 What if the man wants the baby..it's his choice too.
Midlifemale · 61-69, M
@JSul3 If the man refuse to use a condom, then they BOTH accept the responsibility that they may have just made a child...and NOT kill it.

@JSul3 Accidental pregnancy !!!!! that's what this is all about ! and NOT abort it....

@Midlifemale A zygote is not a baby. An embryo is not a baby. A fetus is not a baby until it has formed to the point is becomes viable and can live outside the womb.
Pregnancy is not a piece of cake. If all goes well....and many times it does not go well...the birth of a healthy baby is the result.
Most abortions take place in the first 13 weeks. Typically you are not aware you are even pregnant at 6-10 weeks.
Are you aware that each pregnancy is different? Sometimes bad things occur.
Do you know what a 'tubal pregnancy' is? Do you know that a fetus can lack a brain stem? Are you aware that a fetus can have a lack of lungs?
Do you know what a miscarriage is?
Educate yourself.

@Midlifemale I'm going to say this, if I got pregnant and had a higher chance of dying while giving birth, I'm having an abortion simple as that. That is between the doctor and the woman. Plain and simple.
Patriot96 · 56-60, C
@BeautifulLibra that is an exception and rare
JSul3 · 70-79
@Patriot96 Are you certain of that?
Do you know what a tubal pregnancy is?
Do you know what a brain stem is?
You are trying to address this topic using a very wide brush to support your position. Ok....but every experience is different.
Simply do some web searches, read and educate yourself.

@Patriot96 So true. And there IS NO other choice....unless the mother's health is at risk, incest or a rape victim.
Midlifemale · 61-69, M
@JSul3 That's for the doctor's to decide...not the girl and not your opinion either.

@Patriot96 Ok Miss Know It All.
A doctor in a state with an abortion ban
A doctor told researchers that hospital staffers declined to help a woman in severe pain during a miscarriage. The doctor said that offering help could be construed as "aiding and abetting an abortion".
The Emergency Medical Treatment and Labor Act (EMTALA) requires emergency rooms to treat or stabilize patients who are in active labor. However, there have been reports of pregnant women being turned away from emergency rooms, even when in medical distress.
Kyleigh Thurman
In February 2023, Thurman was sent home from a Texas emergency room while bleeding and in pain due to an ectopic pregnancy. Her lawyers allege that physicians refused to treat her because of the state's abortion ban.
Mylissa Farmer
Farmer was told by emergency physicians in Missouri and Kansas that her fetus could not survive, but that laws prohibited terminating her pregnancy. She had to travel four hours to receive necessary care.
Marlena Stell
Stell was forced to live for at least two weeks with fetal remains inside her after suffering a miscarriage in Texas. Her doctor refused to perform a procedure she needed because it is also used during abortions, which a Texas law restricts.
