I’ve changed my mind. Trump probably IS a foreign agent . . .

Photo above - scene from the award winning 1962 film Manchurian Candidate. Senator Jordan muses "I think if he was a paid Soviet agent, he could not do more to harm this country than he's doing now.

Is $100,000 for a Trump “Swiss watch” out of your price range? Don’t worry, there are still plenty of golden Trump sneakers for sale at $399. Who the heck buys this stuff?

Foreign governments funneling money to Donald Trump. That’s who.

We all know that Trump is first and foremost about “The Art of the Deal”. Money. And he has lost millions – perhaps billions – due to various court verdicts and IRS judgements. Hence, the watches, sneakers, crypto, and god knows what else.

Anyone can buy this stuff, and NOT run afoul of those pesky laws barring foreign powers from bribing US politicians. In the same way that Hunter Biden sold a bunch of totally schlock paintings and earned hundreds of thousands because each had a hilarious NFT (nonfungible token) attached, as if it was actually worth anything. The Hunter scam was really clever, because so many of this “artwork” was paid for with in crypto-currency. But who knows, perhaps that’s also the story with the $100,000 Swiss watches which are actually made in a Wisconsin mall storefront next door to a Wendys. (See link below).

Just because Trump is being funded by Russia, China, and god knows who else, doesn’t mean he’s AWARE that he’s being manipulated. He hasn’t necessarily promised the axis of evil anything return. He hasn’t promised to disband NATO, disarm Israel, or allow China to march into Taipei Taiwan. Those decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis, AFTER the election. If he wins.

The whole $100,000 watch scam is part of a larger plan to disrupt America’s election process, sow doubts about election integrity, and send people at each other’s throats over abortion, gay library books, illegal alien rapists. I don’t think Putin actually has a preferred candidate in 2024. He’s going to win no matter who is elected. Because we’re going to have a weak and ineffective president, ignorant about foreign policy and defense. And the vast majority of our high school graduates – who read collectively at the 5th grade level – will have aligned themselves with one candidate or another for reasons they can’t clearly explain.

I’m just sayin’ . . .

Trump is selling $100K ‘Swiss-made’ watches. A search for who makes them took a bizarre turn

And in related news, according to Jack Smith's most recent filing, Russian Asset Trump used burner phones to lobby state officials to overturn the 2020 election. This is a federal records law violation and proof of criminal intent, among other things.

Trump called the Michigan speaker, on an unofficial line marked "Spam Risk Egypt" to discuss fraud allegations. Proving he tried to cover his tracks, and these were not protected "official acts"

-Trump used a burner phone, routed through a foreign country to contact Michigan house speaker.

-He tried to pressure the speaker in this off book call.

-Speaker McCarthy knew about the burner phone line.

-The phone showed up as “Spam Risk Egypt” on caller ID.

If the President thought his attempt to overturn the election and forge elector documents were legitimate “official acts” why was he using an insecure, foreign routed burner phone for these calls?

P.S. Trump’s own legal team did not dispute the authenticity of *anything* unsealed from the Smith filing.

@ElwoodBlues i'd award this a "best reply" citation. except, it's not.

trump should already have been tried and convicted - in federal court - for election interference in 2020. there are numerous text messages and telephone recording which are overwhelming evidence.

instead, democrats have gamed the system to KEEP Trump as the GOP candidate, but subject him to 1,000 nicks and cuts about everything from 20 year old dressing room trysts, decades old loan applications, and photo bombs with epstein.

if democrats had truly wanted Trump removed from the 2024 election, they would have done so. It's clear to anyone objective that the democrat goal is single party rule.

i will be distressed if trump wins next month. i will be distresssed if Kamala wins next month.

stop stirring the mud about "burner phones". it's even lower than trumps campaign ads about kamala's sex change operations for illegal alien prisoners.
@SusanInFlorida Remind me, who tried TWICE to impeach tRump? Democrats, wasn't it, or do I have that wrong???

And remind me, who protected tRump BOTH TIMES? Republicans, wasn't it, or do I have that wrong???

And remind me, who helped tRump stonewall Jack Smith's many investigations every chance they got? Republicans, wasn't it, or do I have that wrong???

Your attempt to blame tRump's RNC coronation on Democrats is one of your silliest claims EVER🤣😂🤣😂

@ElwoodBlues i freely admit i'm not an expert on impeachment. i don't think there has been a successful one in my lifetime, but i could be wrong.

impeachment always seems to be a partisan tool in order sway voter sentiment.

and the defenders of the president always come from his own party. whether it's clinton, or trump.

I'm merely pointing out who ACTUALLY went to great lengths to keep tRump as a viable candidate vs who tried to use impeachment and disqualification to prevent him from running again.

And I repeat, your attempt to blame tRump's RNC coronation on Democrats is one of your silliest claims EVER🤣😂🤣😂

@ElwoodBlues Purchase and use of burner phones would seem to support the RICO aspects of the case. Just making one of those calls can put you in legal jeopardy..😷

I would have liked to have seen...

(1) The U.S. Senate voted for a conviction in both impeachments, but only 6 GOP senators voted to convict Trump in January 2021 (some likely concluding as many Americans did - though not me - that Trump wouldn't run again for president)

(2) The Justice Dept. work much faster on the indictments (but, again, they were probably assuming Trump wouldn't run again)

But the biggest culprit in the delays is the judicial system.

Trump's legal strategy was to delay, delay, delay. But the Courts themselves permitted this. It's difficult to pin the blame on a defendant when it's the Courts (and court rules) that are being taken advantage of (or used) in an effort to delay convictions and or sentencing until after the election or after inauguration day when if Trump were to win federal charges would be moot.

@beckyromero general agreement. although i don't believe the DOJ should base it's legal strategy on predictions about whether or not a felon will run for public office. or currently occupies an elective office.
