An interesting coincidence about Trump and the last election
It is interesting that Georgia a state the Turmpists tried to meddle in the election there and it is also the home of a literal finishing school to train right wing dictators and torturers.

The School of the Americas is just a Infantry School for international students. I knew some of the instructors, I was the one giving them reading lists, not the other way around.
Reason we had to set up the school was either Ecuador or Columbia- back in the 50s they sent some guys for Special Forces training, and the instructors flunked one out. So he returned home, and was decapitated. The government sent a apology back stating what they did.
Obviously this freaked all the instructors out who didn't want to train foreigners anymore, so that's why whenever Slecial Forces recruits are put on a team with foreigners, NOBODY passes. Everyone gets a gold star and a pat on the back, and the American recruits get recycled because they couldn't get properly scored.
Infantry School just does officer level courses ontop of that. We also get a bunch of foreigners via Airborne School (that is a individual pass and fail). Some countries send their royalty to West Point (a four year college that also produces officers).
The School of Americas (infantry School) is in a Division called Follow Me. Most people in Swallow Me are dumb as a sack of bricks, read a handful of TRADOC manuals, half of them couldn't point to South America on a map. They are too stupid to know how Fascism works. Or how Marxism works. Or how Capitalism works. Or how Credit Cards work.
They are not training fascist. They are training them on basic battalion level maneuvers your average Canadian Mountie learned back when he was in the Army. They just happen to sometimes turn to Marxism (usually) or fascism (rarer, not as many revolutionary theorists or USSR/CCP equivelents handing out weapons to them).
They train armies who can barely road march or drive tanks in anything other than a stright line to conduct basic military operations in a combined arms enviroment. Democracies do this more than tyrannies believe it or not. And yes, Canada does that too.
@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow They don't deny it because they don't hear it anymore. The allegations is from decades ago. Nobody really pays attention to that. The School of Americas just teaches officer level courses. It's not a school of ideology for governing the nation. If we have anything at all that does that, it be with the state department, not Officer Barney Fife teaching the importants of moving your troops down multiple roads at one time in a coordinated movement, instead of all troops down the same road, because the enemy might ambush your solitary column.
They teach basic shit there. It's nit general level knowledge. It's lower end officer knowledge.
Officer Barney Fife: School of the Americas Instructor
@Dignaga First off Marxism and fascism are polar opposites and in direct opposition to one another.
And the fact is the US didn't hate fascism at all. The US was happy to do business with both Nazi Germany and Fascist Italy. The only reason the US went to war with them is because the terms of the Axis military alliance dictated that a declaration of war against Japan was a declaration against the entire alliance. If Pearl Harbour had not happened the US would not have cared much about Europe.
Second of all Fascism is the jackboot that enforces capitalism by the gun barrel. The US used to do it themselves (that is why Smedley Butler called himself a gangster for capitalism). After traditional colonial empire falling out of fashion by the 1940s for mostly PR reasons the US instead of invading countries and colonies directly they outsourced alot of the dirty work to fascists who were very happy to help. This was done all over the world from supporting fascists in the Baltics and Ukraine, to all over Latin America where the School of the Americas was created to do that very job.
Domino theory was mostly from an earlier decade and also mostly a Asia/Pacific thing with the US freaking out over Mao.
You are right that the US didn't want Marxists but they absolutely wanted fascists who were happy to murder leftists and force Chicago School economics on the world by the gun.
In fact the CIA still supports fascists all around the world because they are useful idiots and bloodthirsty.
He the NASA space program was practically founded by recruited nazis.
The fact is almost every fascist since 1945 has been on Uncle Sam's payroll.
Your ideas that your country has noble intentions is almost adorable.
@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow I don't know what the horseshie theory is. I read Marx and Max Stirner, then Nietzsche and several Marxist and Fascist successors directly in translations trying to figure out who did what and why.
The two ideologies are siblings. Fascism grew directly out of Marxism (in Germany) and Socialism (in Italy).
Default. Real. Happened. Fact. IS HISTORY.
US Conservatives go back to debates in House of Burgesses, and debates around the 1789 Constitution we currently use. The first socialist groups in France that inspired Marxism wasn't even a thing yet.
90% of Marxism and Fascism is in agreement. Hitler just wanted the focus on the Volk and not the Proletariat. Both have state control and manipulation over private property. Hitler and Mao would let industrialists own their industries on paper, but the state controlled everything (yes, Mao allowed private industry and rich people as long as it benifited the party).
@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow No. First thing the Nazis did was adopt all the symbols and colors of the Marxist Leninist movement in Germany and try to win as many of them over as he could.
@Dignaga Both Hitler and Mussolini only used some of the language of the left to recruit the gullible. You do know what the Night of the Long Knives was about, right?
And comparing a Marxist command economy to Nazi Germany where the term privatization was literally invented is just silly.
@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow It's been long established Hitler controlled private industry in Germany. He let people keep their money, but you better donate generously to reich causes, but the actions of private businesses were under as much scrutiny as in China today.
I know you are not a reader, would you like some videos by historians discussing this?
@Dignaga I have studied history extensively. And that is why I know nobody who has studied the matter seriously believes fascists took any of the anti capitalist leanings even remotely seriously.
The NSDAP actually murdered everyone in the party who had even the slightest anti capitalist sentiment.
