Trump supporters flags?
Why do some Trump supporters fly flags of armies defeated by America? (Confederate flag and National Socialist Flag).

Seriously, this country has fundamentally changed. The transformation has been gradual and probably began with the Summer of Love, some ten years before I was born. The change crept up on us. Liberals were ok then. I can still identify with the likes of Jane Fonda protesting the Vietnam War. The left weren't atheists but were into California dreamin' and eastern spiritualism. And that was ok too. They were nuts but still American. Today, when I see a fellow white guy, more so a white woman, at the farmers' market, I recoil. The farmers are ok but not the goody two shoes empaths stinking up the place. Their front lawns are littered with "Harris/Walz" yard signs. War mongers.
No, they hate the America where people are allowed to vote and live without interference from the government in their daily lives. Conservatives want a dictatorship as long as the dictator hates the same people they hate.

@sree251 The Summer of Love was just a media event. Eastern spiritualism was just another product sold by hucksters, same as every other religion.
The "transformation" began decades earlier. No one event is dispositive, but World War Two led to large numbers of Black and white soldiers serving together and gaining mutual respect, making the Civil Rights Era easier for white people to accept. It also put women in the workplace, and while the popular image of the 1950s was one of dad going to work while mom kept house, that history helped pave the way for later acceptance of women entering the workforce permanently. Add in birth control pills and legal abortion, and we were never going to go back to the kind of paternalistic society we had before.
I'm not sure why you think people with Harris/Walz signs are "warmongers." That doesn't follow. If Trump wins, the Middle East will explode and Russia will obliterate Ukraine. It's the Trump/Vance people who are warmongers. They're only anti-war when a Democrat is in the White House. The Vietnam War, the Iraq War, and the Afghanistan War were all started by Republicans.

At this point in time, we can only project into the future by exploring likely scenarios of what may happen. Trump is a take charge guy and is the only party who has expressed his intention to stop the conflicts in Ukraine and Gaza. The ending of violence is all that matters. Both wars have been going on without any resolution. It clearly shows that the policy of the current Administration is to maintain the status quo allowing the wars to go on.
