Trump supporters flags?

Why do some Trump supporters fly flags of armies defeated by America? (Confederate flag and National Socialist Flag).

It's not about the armies, it's about the ideologies.

@BohemianBabe And what are those ideologies, Bo?
@sree251 Fascism, duh. Same reason they like Putin and Orbán.

What is fascism?

Reactionary (socially conservative) Authoritarianism.

Please explain how Trump supporters, dumb as you view them, would understand that ideology.

They probably wouldn't understand it, since their brains are soup. But they're voting for Fascism, so that's enough to make them Fascists. They're working towards that goal, even if it's only because they're in a cult.

And what has Putin and Orban got to do do with fascism?

They're reactionary Authoritarians.

If fascism has to do wit authoritarianism, don't you consider our duty to obey the US Constitution makes us all fascists?

Every society has laws, whether they're being enforced by a president, a dictator, or a local warlord. The Constitution is an attempt at making sure that we all have a say in which rules become law. Fascism would be a situation where one political party makes the laws without democracy, checks and balances, and transparency.

Is this your perception of fascism? My perception of fascism is a political ideology characterized by a society ruled by a dictator. What are the Russians and Hungarians reacting to in their support of Putin and Orban respectively?

I suppose you would also consider the Russians and Hungarians as cult followers whose brains are soup. Do you eschew politics and avoid voting for any candidate standing for public office? How do citizens participate in the formation of government without pledging support for anyone to avoid being part of a cult?

Is that what Putin and Orban are, in your opinion? What conditions in Russia and Hungary are they reacting to respectively?

What if two or more political parties, in a democracy, find accord and make laws you don't have a say in?
@sree251 If it's a Democracy, then we do have a say in it. We might not always get the exact results we want, but we do have a say.

You had a say in every assassination carried out by the CIA? Do you have a say in what decisions are made in the Department of Defense in the development of bio-weapons? Does your State Senator even know what is going on?
@sree251 Once again, we might not always get the exact results we want. But yes, as long as we have a vote in who serves in office, we all have a say. If we lose our democracy, which is the goal of the Republicans, then we won't have a say anymore.

Having a say is all that matters to you? Ok, you can have your say, once every four years.
@sree251 Of course it's not all the matters. You asked if America is an authoritarian state, I said no because we have democracy. It doesn't mean things are perfect, it doesn't mean there's not a ton that I would change. But no, we're not authoritarian as long as we have democratic elections.

Also, it's not once every four years. I also vote in the midterms and I'm active in local politics in both America and Germany.
