Interesting how Americans think they have the right to dictate politics on a global level but the instant their politics are criticized suddenly

American politics exist in a magical vacuum and don't impact the rest of the world so nobody is allowed to comment. Interesting.

It's not unique to them, really. They're currently the nation whose politics affect the most every one else so it's visible on them, but I've seen that happening for instance with British, German, Russian, Indian* and France nationals. It's mostly a generational thing also, boomers and older are less receptive of foreign opinions than, e.g., millennials and gen-z. At least in my exp.
