I don't think this is what Israel wants. What they want is to push all Palestinians out of the West Bank and Gaza and annex that territory without international pushback.

Too bad others object to being forced out of their land and want to fight them by any means possible.

@trollslayer Yeah, agree with you about the West Bank, but Hamas just wanted to blow up the status quo. So, they succeeded in that.
