It is true about how people have to steal a certain dollar amount before anything gets prosecuted.
What stores do to combat that though, some of them like walmart are very good at keeping track. Of course thieves will not stop at that number, they tend to go back several times.
Although it is not so much immigrants doing this - it is America's own citizens.
With that "one hour" or even "one day", what happens when that is over?
I am no fan of tRump but I think we can all agree about being tired of thieves.

Is America tough enough on crime?
If not - it's not one person's fault it's not the biden's administration's fault. What is going on has been going on for decades.

I agree. Crime is out of control. I don't like this catch and release program Biden and Harris have either. I find it funny actually that for the first time in four years Kamala finally visited the border. Lol!!! And the only reason she did it is because it is a very hot political topic these days. I like how after four years of the border wall is inhumane and undemocratic how all of a sudden she is saying she will finish the wall. If course we all know that's a lie. For four years she couldn't be bothered visiting the border. She has ordered it to be wide open. Actions speak louder than words. She has no intention of closing the border. Electing her would be four more years of a wide open border and tons of resources going to support them while they take jobs away from American citizens.

I personally believe she will make an attempt and the best attempt is to hire more border control personnel.
As she mentioned in the debate directly to Trump the plan she proposed the Republicans threw it out _ and she wasn't running then - yet people ignore that.

I've lived in Texas all of my life - native Houstonian - and the border and illegal immigrants has always been a problem here in Texas. As I said before as long as it was a Texas problem other states didn't care. Texas started the catching release program back in the 1970s when they got tired of running them down and sending them back and they come right back over here. George w bush made it official in the early 2000s.

They swim - they dig - they climb - they are transported ___ the only thing that's going to slow them down is more border patrol - and take note I said slow them down - as soon as they're deported they reenter.
