@jshm2 Meanwhile, back in the real world, the USA has the strongest economy in the world with all countries interested in investing in it. Insurrectionist-Cry-Baby-trump's "tariff plan" is a fantasy inside a fantasy seeking fantasy oriented lost souls looking for simple solutions to real problems solved with a formula ending in 22 minutes to fit into their attention span capabilities.

@whowasthatmaskedman The American people have never been united like you cherish from your childrens' stories. In fact, that is one of America's great strengths and a testimony to democracy itself... that the nation remains together even with the dissension that comes from a Civil War in its history, institutionalized hate the caused the idea (THE IDEA) of civil rights for all to enter the mainstream consciousness. Perhaps you are not old enough to recall the implications of the Vietnam War that was far more polarizing to American society than anything Insurrectionist-Cry-Baby-trump and his trusty sidekick, J D Vance have been able to come up with on their best/worst days. And, so despite those who claim the USA is in decline dating back centuries and reaching a crest when the Soviet Union was rising in the 1950's, Japan was going to take over the world in the 1970's and later China in the 1990's, it's still producing and leading the world.
I have observed those who profess to love capitalism and democracy tend to be the least to advocate for it and the first to claim it's in decline when its flaws are on display front and centre. I don't know why that is. One day, I will set out to do a documentary to find out.

@MarkPaul I think the disunity of the American people to the point where they are turning on each other is way in excess of the variety of opinion a healthy democratic system provides for.😷

@whowasthatmaskedman I think the way people point fingers while not pointing fingers is as disingenuous as claiming people on polar opposite sides of issues is not healthy for democracy. Pointing fingers while not pointing fingers is a convenient and lazy way to avoid an argument by disguising passion for an issue with passive-aggressive behaviour. Fighting to the death for issues is what democracy is. It's not for the faint of heart who want to bake a pie and never be uncomfortable.
