What is a multi cultural area in universities?

I was told this is an area that excludes white people, could that be true?

And would it include all people with light skin? Or people of European
ancestry.

The person who told you that immediately concluded they are based on race, which says a lot about them. They aren't based on race. They encompass race, gender, sexual preference, even economic status. If they told you they exclude white people, then that's just a dog whistle and you should ignore it for the nonsense it is. They are basically spaces within the campus of many universities that are at pains to emphasise total inclusion of everyone, irrelevant of skin colour, sexual preference, class status, even political affiliations.

An Arizona State University student was aggressively confronted and filmed for studying while white and having a pro-police sticker on his laptop in a “multicultural space.”
At one point in the now-viral video, the student is accused of “violence” over the sticker

No, they didn’t “kill an unarmed woman”. They killed someone at the head of a violent mob that was attempting to breach the chamber of the House of Representatives in order to kidnap and assassinate the lawmakers inside in order to prevent them from certifying the electoral victory of the winning candidate in the presidential election of 2020, in a naked bid to subvert the democratic process so that a prearranged slate,of false electors could be substituted instead. She was given several directives to stand down and still chose to climb through the window, and was met with the apporate level of force, given the fact that the Capitol Police are trained to defend their charges inside by any means necessary when violence is threatened.
