Trump new cryptocurrency business?

Apparently that is on his agenda for today?

Isn’t that a very clear conflict of interest, and something a presidential hopeful should not be doing during a campaign?

Most former presidents start charities, nonprofits, etc. Trump starts another scam.

I guess it is “technically” his son’s business. I guess all the MAGAs can now STFU about Hinter Biden.
@trollslayer You mean the alleged influence peddling that made family members richer than they already are ?
Nobody knows more about KLEPTOcurrency than the "unStable Genius".
His next in a long line.

What a sad human being.

I mentioned this a week ago, when Trump said he would run a crypto led economic recovery..The share deal didnt go so well.

I was going to do a post asking EXACTLY the same thing.

I thought it was against the constitution for a presidential candidate to be in business.

@justanothername Well, it's not the first time where presidents/candidates have been involved in deals that could be influenced by their position. I just don't remember one being so blatant where the value of his earnings could be directly tied to decisions he makes as president. Normally this stuff is under the table and comes to light as a scandal. This.is.just.right.there, admitted to (and celebrated) by the candidate.

And I just read I think it was Forbes claiming China will tank Bitcoin somehow.

@MarmeeMarch that’s called a salary, and not a topic here. Suppose biden decided to own a solar company. And then he was president and signed laws restricting coal and oil fuels. Is that ok?
@trollslayer No that is not ok - However if your family has a business, that's their business. But an elected official using his powers to make money is illegal.
