Biden should have never appointed Harris as the nominee. How can someone get appointed anyway? I thought this was a democratic process.

It's called Cheating.

A method DemonRats take for granted now.

Had Biden decided a year ago that he wasn't running for a second term in Office, then the usual democratic process would have unfolded.

But because Biden refused to step down yet was unable to run for a second term, it got so late into the year that the only option available was to appoint his VP as the nominee, which came to fruition from Biden living in a state of denial and those around him not being honest with him about his mental state as well.

@swirlie Where is that written in DNC rules? Biden won the nomination but he wasn't officially the nominee. How can he just decide to give it away? I believe this whole thing was planned from beginning

Look in chapter 18, paragraph 22 which is on page 77 of the DNC rules for your answer.
