Why do republican attack the children of democrats

I happend with Clinton Obama and now with Walz their children have become targets of the GOP why is this.

I don't know why republicans feel entitled to attack the minor children of Democrats. They attacked Chelsea Clinton and they've attacked Gus Walz. And we've been SO GOOD at keeping quiet about the rumors regarding Barron Trump. Who is no longer a minor.
