The problem is, the right keeps moving further to the right, but they can't flat out say that's what they are doing, because they are moving toward fascism. So they lie and say that we're the ones becoming extremists, moving further and further to the left, in the pathetic hope that nobody will notice who's really moving.
20 years ago, I supported racial equality, gender equality, equal rights for homosexuals, and reproductive rights.
I have not changed my position on any of those issues, but it suddenly makes me a lefty extremist now, according to the right.

@LordShadowfire I almost couldn't of put it better myself, I agree, obviously. I've noticed this too. the march to the right. they're hoping no one notices and they can just keep hammering us with "move to the center." Why bother? You keep marching right. You're the extremist now.
