@GlitterEater What’s wrong with them? They’re just a travel agreement between countries that were never at war with each other. The only problem with them is how conservatives keep boasting about them like they’re the Yalta treaty.

@GlitterEater That's been obvious for a while. One possible reason for the Oct. 7 attack was to derail the planned mutual security agreement between Saudi Arabia and Israel.

The reason the Palestinians are being "left behind" is because of their insistence on a judenrein Middle East. After 76 years, the Arab leadership other than Iran has accepted that Israel isn't going anywhere. Israel has a lot more to offer the Arab World than the Palestinians do.

This doesn't mean the Palestinian people deserve to be blown up at home or kept in permanent, multi-generational refugee status abroad, but until they give up their dream of a caliphate "from the river to the sea," they will continue to fade into irrelevance.

Nobody twisted anyone's arm to sign the Abraham Accords. The negotiations for them began under Obama. All Trump did was sign them.
