@jackjjackson The debate both candidates agreed to is on September 10. When Biden dropped out, Trump tried to weasel out of that one by saying he agreed to debate Biden, not Harris, and proposed a September 4 debate on Fox, which Harris has not agreed to. So I assume Trump will show up on Sept. 4, and if Harris isn't there, he can fail to show up on Sept. 10 and say "well, she didn't show up to debate me, so I didn't show up to debate her."
We will see. I fully expect him to show on the tenth and if he has an extra town hall or whatever on the fourth so much the better. Harris will be in hiding with a rich donor. @LeopoldBloom

Trump's handlers know he will talk over her if his mic is live when she's speaking, which would be a bad look, so they want them off when it's the other person's turn. But it's obvious that Twitler still hasn't adjusted to the fact that he's not running against Biden anymore. It must be driving him nuts that Biden beat him and he will never be able to beat him in return.

@jackjjackson Your memory must be shot from the Alzheimer's. Trump initially tried to back out of the debate when Harris replaced Biden. I'm sure that was because he spends months preparing for debates and having only 6 weeks to prepare for debating a completely different person was too short a timeline.
