I'm a Catholic and even I know that Christianity cribbed a lot of stuff from other religions. December 25 isn't even Christ's real birthday but a conflation or take over of a pagan sun festival that was held around the same time. Made sense for early missionaries to spread the joy of Jesus birth with an already joyous occasion

@Midlifemale Personally I like drag queens, partially because they have tons of personality. I know half of it is for show and they are different in real life as people are people but the whole anti intellectualism that conservatives seem to have is just off putting and weird. You are all so strange, like you want everything to fit into neat little boxes that you can organize and put on a shelf.

So sterile and off putting if I'm being honest. No color in your life, no emotion, no love... just devoid of all happiness.

I feel like conservatives belong in some cosmic horror fiction where they scream about the fish people all day and are overtly toxic to any outsiders, for real.
