What did Trump mean by this statement? Discuss

[media=https://tiktok.com/7396239562365783326]

"It will be fixed, it will be fine”.
The former President told Christians at a conservative event in Florida on Friday, July 26.

Former President Trump addressed Christian voters to vote for him and claimed they "won't have to do it anymore" after the election in November.
"It'll be fixed, it'll be fine. You won't have to vote anymore," the GOP presidential nominee told the crowd at the conservative Turning Point Action event
He continued his speech by saying, "We'll have it fixed so good, you're not gonna have to vote."

What did Trump mean by this? If he wins does that mean US voters won’t need to vote anymore?

What are your thoughts?

Honestly, I wouldn't read too much into it except maybe Trump doesn't expect to running for election in 2028. He's the savior and he NEEDs to win, but I think reading too much more into it is a mistake.

Does he know it sounds dictatorish? Sure, but like the day 1 thing, he can explain that away, and I don't think he has any real intention of following through with much of anything in Project 2025 or even his own campaign's plan.

Again, it's "dictatorish," and it's a little telling that he's not really focusing on the need to win Congressional races to deliver on his promises, but I don't think its new evidence of an actual plan on his part to fully seize power, end elections, etc.

He needs to win to fully shut down his own legal problems, and I'm sure he'd like to to feed at the public trough again, both financially and ego-wise, but even if some Trumpists think he'll deliver Gilead in 4 years, I dont think that will be his priority.

@MistyCee there’s zero financial incentive for him to be president.

@MistyCee I definitely agree about the legal
Issues. It’s the only way he can get out of them.

@AthrillatheHunt agreed, he needs to be President to get out of his legal troubles
@iamonfire696 I'm not 100% sure that SCOTUS hasn't set him up to get out of the criminal issues, but controlling the DOJ again would seal the deal instantly.
@AthrillatheHunt Why, because he didn't take a salary?

We've pretty much established that it's ok for him to take emoluments, and even without Immunity, SCOTUS just ok'd accepting "gratuities."

@MistyCee he loses money every day he is in office. For all his faults, this isn’t one of them.
AbbySvenz · F
Right. Let’s forget about all the foreign money that went into Trump properties from foreign dignitaries during his term @AthrillatheHunt

@AthrillatheHunt
there’s zero financial incentive for him to be president.

Even if that was so, there's a whole lot of staying out of prison motivation.
AbbySvenz · F
It’s been said he’s not running for president so much as running from the law @Vin53
Vin53 · M
@AbbySvenz It's his only recourse
@AthrillatheHunt I know he's said he loses money, and I can't prove he doesn't, but I definitely don't believe him. That train sailed long ago.

@AbbySvenz And I think there's some accuracy there.

@AbbySvenz You’re right

@MistyCee IF Orangeman wins his goal is to make it so that USA no longer votes and he just remains in office indefinitely and then he can pass it on to his kids etc etc

The way the Supreme Court is acting is just as embarrassing as he is and they probably would let something like that happen
@black4white Realistically, I don't think any of his kids are up to it and they know it.

Trumpism certainly hits on issues, grievances, and policies, but it's mostly a personality cult.
