Kamala Harris poll numbers up after first speech...but can she beat Trump ? 👀

I watched her first official campaign speech
I'm not sold. But she definitely convinced quite a few people in the comments section on most YouTube videos that she can beat the infamous Donald Trump.
What do you think.
Did she surprise you with her powerful words. Did she woo you with her charm and intellect. Shes at 44%...Trump is at 42%. Do you believe that Kamala Harris can really beat Donald Trump.
Comments please. Best answer wins. ☺️🇺🇲

The independents are not the only unknown factor.

What no pole will tell you, from either side, is what the unregistered are thinking. And they actually out number the whole independent party!

Most unregistered voters end up just that - unregistered and not voting.

Approximately 92% of those registered to vote (including same day registrants) voted in 2020.

Of all eligible voters, about 2/3 ended up registered and voting.

Turnout and registering new voters only matters in the swing states.

California will vote Democrat, regardless.

Wyoming will vote Republican, regardless.

Dems are gradually getting back in the game in Texas, but it may take another election cycle or two. That's why the Republicans are disenfrachising voters there and making it more difficult to vote in person or drop off an absentee ballot.

@beckyromero they would be killing themselves if they don't once AGAIN push voter registration in ALL states! Exactly like they did in previous presidential elections!

I don't see why you are not for this. The young voters usually are Democrats. And Kamala appeals to them. Even the Media is saying this.

This is also more than just the presidential election. It applies to even Congress.

Why haven't you bought a major league baseball team? Or an NFL team? A 400-foot yacht?

Because political parties, believe it or not, do have limited resources.

I sure as hell don't mind if the Dems make a greater effort to register new voters in Michigan instead of in Illinois. Same with the GOTV effort. I want a greater effort made in the Blue Wall states. WTF do I care if that means someone stays home on election day in Cheyenne. Their vote and 100,000 of their friends isn't going to make a difference in rewarding Wyoming's three electoral votes.

But switching less than 50,000 votes in Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania with a then-combined 46 electoral votes and Hillary would have won in 2016. Instead, she was wasting resources in Arizona and Florida the final weekend of the campaign. Trump wound up winning all five of those states, Florida by over 100,000 votes and Arizona by over 90,000.

You can't govern if you don't win.

I want resources used efficiently. Not wasted where they aren't needed.

@beckyromero A. I don't like professional sports! Why would I want to even buy a professional sports team?
B. I don't like yachting, why would I buy a yacht?

C. More voters more resources!
D. In the long run you need those resources!

@DeWayfarer
why would I buy a yacht?

To beat Putin in a yacht race, of course!

(If had a spare $4.5 billion laying around, I'd buy the Cubs.)

@beckyromero I'm more practical. I would use money to do better for society which would make more money in turn.

Which is what I am talking about when spending money for more resources.

Are you saying that HUMILIATING Putin wouldn't be beneficial for society?

Or do you doubt your ship handling capabilities?

@beckyromero We are far apart politically but I'm an honest person. This comment truly made me laugh. I guess because it even works outside these rabbit holes.

Not practical!

Better ways of dealing with a "Nuclear" power! Like getting him away from red buttons!

You don't pilot a ship during a storm, when you are likely to get sea sick! That's as well not practical!

Only someone like Trump would be insane enough to do so!

He would sink the ship will all hands and passengers aboard, while puking all over each of them!
