Yup, I was right. The sexism is going to be insane.

@BohemianBabe I've read just a couple of days ago that Republican leaders are deeply concerned that women could make them lose in a landslide (guess, overturning Roe's the gift that keeps on giving); rampant sexism three months before the election is going to make that a certainty, and we're just here watching them shìt on their own chances in confusion lol

@Elessar I think the GOP suddenly has a lot going against them right now. Trump gets shot at and he gets some sympathy, and some were willing to re-consider trump. But Biden dropping out and handing the torch to Harris is very newsworthy and completely overshadows Trump being shot at by a kid looking for attention (that news story happens 4-5x per year and has gone stale). It will energize democrat voters, and should Harris pick a likeable VP, she has the potential to draw in some of the "sick of Trump and Biden" voters, of which I know many. Plus, an "open convention" hasn't happened in a long time, and more people may tune in because it is interesting and different.

@sunsporter1649 Okay. I actually instead prefer candidates on the base of their policies, than acting like a 5 yo who just wants to throw a tantrum and pìss people off
