My prediction

Within a year (prob after the election), Biden will publicly say he was diagnosed with a form of mental decline (parkinsons, had a stroke, etc). And then it will be revealed that this happened late 2023 or early 2024, and the democrats were hoping to prop him up tru the election, and that he would resign shortly thereafter. Then the debate, and things were no longer hidden.

I think this decision was made shortly after the debate, they were just waiting on exploring their options and timing.

Certainly the decision was made much earlier than it was announced…Kamala had champagne ads and phone lists ready. It took her all of 4 hours to rally the party behind her, just 24 hours to raise a stunning amount of money and has been getting a growing list of endorsements since the announcement.

As for the rest of that, time will tell 🤷‍♂️

@Zaphod42 She claims she did not know until that morning. Same with most of the rest of his staff. So they either kept it close to keep from leaking, or truth is being stretched a bit here. I really don't think this was an 11th hour thing.

@trollslayer I doubt many were told in advance…it would have been leaked other wise, but she and maybe one or two closely trusted staffers were almost certainly given a heads up a day or two beforehand so they could be ready to hit the ground running.
