So .... who is really running America???

A long overdue warning to all Americans. Your vote doesn't count, even when combined with the votes of your fellow citizens; doesn't count nearly as much as the $$$ of major party contributors.

To watch the parade of US senators and members of the House making house calls on Joe Biden, telling him to withdraw from the race. Why? Because major Democrat contributors have withheld their contributions or promise to cut funding if Joe stays in the race. And along with those members of congress are the big players in the information industry. Two months ago everyone was OK with Joe ... but with threats to shut off the $$$ spigot, Joe now has to go?

So who is running America? Just proxy politicians that big $$$ contributors give us to vote for? Are then the members of congress who are supposed to be representing the people are really representing the big $$$ contributors instead? To watch the insistence that Biden steps aside NOW is a pretty good measure on how much more weight big $$$ contributors carry than we the people.

So whose policy is/was it to open the border and allow millions in? Or student loan forgiveness? or the Green economy? Joe Biden's or Mark Zuckerberg's? Or was it George Soros's?

Considering our border and drug problems, one has to also wonder if illegal drug cartels are on those the list of major political contributors.

Who is really running America?

america is run by a large number of multinational corporations
they have NO political agenda,
just stacking up more and more cash.

@SatyrService There's a reason why billionaires overwhelmingly donate to Republicans. Stacking up more and more cash is political.
@BohoBabe they donate to both sides in most races..
and individual billionaires are not as Big as the corporations that get them rich
BohoBabe · M
@BohoBabe it goes farther and deeper.
consider the superpacs too
BohoBabe · M
@SatyrService Donations includes super pacs.
This is why Republicans don't want to get money out of politics. It benefits them way more than it benefits Democrats.
@BohoBabe yes it does, and the R's do pay off better.
but they hedge the bets so they get access
@BohoBabe Now let's see a pie cart for "in kind" contributions. The value of 5 nights a week, late night (so called) comedy programs on NBC, CBS and ABC all pitching for Democrats; and the daytime programs like the View, etc. How much would Robert De Niro charge to make a commercial for a beer company, yet gives it free for Democrats?
@Heartlander yes,, that IS important
BohoBabe · M
@Heartlander First of all, we're talking about billionaire funding, not the fact that most Americans side with the Democrats over the Republicans, or that comedians tend to be left-leaning.

Secondly, there is more right-wing media than liberal media, and left-wing media barely exists outside of the internet. Again, the reason for that is because Republicans serve the billionaire class.
