Well...ehmmm...that might be because there are some people who will use ANY excuse to loot. AND...there are some people who are being PAID to riot and burn things.

Conservatives are a calm and boring lot...and most conservatives are too busy working at good jobs, and supporting their families, to have enough TIME to burn and loot and riot.
