TheOneyouwerewarnedabout Folks don't realize this but Nixon had a FAR LEFT LIBERAL RECORD that Nazis like Obama would salivate over. But considering NIxon's role in the oil shocks, I hardly think that was any kind of a benefit to black people, Caucasians, Latinos, Asians, etc. It basically hurt everyone.
1. Nixon took the world off the Bretton Woods gold standard. OPEC warned him not to do that, since all oil was traded in American dollars (which for now is the reserve currency of the world.) That little stunt he did DESTROYED the integrity of the dollar, not just in oil, but also in the inflation that followed. And that runaway inflation lasted right up to the Reagan administration (who fixed it) because Nixon,Ford, and Carter were IDIOTS when it comes to monetary issues.
2. The last time the federal budget was balanced was in 1969. It was at the height of the Vietnam War and NIxon was president.
3. Nixon signed the Budget And Impoundment act, which put ALL entitlements on automatic increase each year. That single signature is the reason why today the WELFARE STATE is 75 percent of the federal budget.
Are you kidding me? KKKlinton, Carter, Saddam Hussein Obama and Unelected Joe would beat off at the idea of having that far left a record.
