Is it meaningful to identify as a right wing or left wing person? Or a liberal or conservative? Or any of that?

I feel I do not fall square into either one. And i'm not a "centrist" either. I also try to avoid doing the "both sides" thing, because most of the time I do see one side as being right on some issues. I'm not that guy.

I'v declared myself "more of a lefty" when I was younger, and recently started saying I was a traditionalist (not a conservative) because it seems accurate. But I feel like lables are for dipshits and honestly, we should think for ourselves. The shit that gets labled on one side or the other is silly. For example: Andrew Tate is against feminism, and feminism is typically thought of as left wing, so ppl casually call that guy right. In reality, nothing about the redpill is traditionally right wing, and the founder of conservatism would have actually been called a simp by these guys for the things he said about how awesome women are.

I'm "left wing" on the environment, but i'm right wing on making sure homogenous monogamous families with a ton of kids flourish. So what the hell am I suppose to do? Right leaning peeps wanna destroy the environment, but left wing peeps wanna destroy everything that makes life worth living anyhow.

How exactly does the Right want to achieve this? The reason every family needs two incomes is because right-wing politicians have cut social programs which would make it possible for one parent to work, while the other tends to the home. The main reason couples in America choose not to have kids is because they can't afford it. The Right even wants to cut free school lunch.
So if you want families with kids to flourish, you should support left-wing policies.

@BohemianBabe and how do you propose to pay for all these left wing policies? More taxes that you don’t pay to begin with, if y oh get any type of refund at the time tax season roles around, you don’t pay taxes, you may pay local taxes on food and items from the store but probably not federal taxes that pay for these programs
@Prison1203 Raises taxes on the rich. Next question.
Prison1203 · 61-69, M
@BohemianBabe so, the rich have to pay more to solve the problems of those that don’t want to solve their own problems, how is that fair to those that have made their lives better for themselves and their families? To give to those that can’t or won’t? How many taxes are enough? You do realize that the rich make jobs while the poor take advantage of those programs because they are unwilling or just don’t want to make their lives better. , please explain how making those that already pay 85-90% of the taxes in America pay more help things? It just drives them out of the country to places where the tax system isn’t as bad for them. How many poor people provide jobs that help the economy as opposed to the rich that do?

First of all, this completely ignores classism and other factors that create economic circumstances, such as where you're born. A person born to rich parents in a wealthy zip code is going to have it much much easier than a person born to poor parents in the ghetto. It's not that poor people don't want to solve their own problems, it's that they have tons of problems that people born into wealth will never have.

Secondly, I'm more concerned about which system works better. Welfare states work better than extreme capitalist states where they don't have generous social programs. If you care about families and children, then you support things like free school lunch.

please explain how making those that already pay 85-90% of the taxes in America pay more help things?

The rich actually pay very little in taxation. This is why Trump didn't want to release his taxes. There was a year where Amazon paid exactly no taxes for the full year.
And as for how it helps things, we can use that money to pay for social programs.

How many poor people provide jobs that help the economy as opposed to the rich that do?

None, which is why we should end poverty. Glad we agree.

@BohemianBabe then explain to me how Ben Carson got out of the ghetto to become one of the worlds premier brain surgeon’s in the world if it’s so hard to get out of the ghetto and being born yo poor parents. Your excuse doesn’t hold water, his mother wanted better for him and his brother and made sure that he studied and kept out of trouble. And just because you are born into a somewhat better economic environment doesn’t mean that you yourself will automatically become better off, I’ve seen people win the lottery and lose it all, they have made television shows on it. None of your theories hold water

@BohemianBabe I disagree with your people born poor stay poor comment. Immigrants from meager backgrounds become successful in USA if they work hard or are smart . People depending on govt assistance stay poor bc of the govt assistance. Just my opinion .
@AthrillatheHunt So how come the vast majority of people born into poverty stay poor? How come the vast majority born into wealth stay rich? Is that just coincidence?
As I mentioned earlier, some slaves were able to buy their freedom. Most weren't.

@AthrillatheHunt You can disagree all you want, but that's the reality. Even billionaires who weren't born to billionaire parents were still born into the upper-class. Look up any list of the world's richest people and you'll find a list of people who were extremely privileged all their lives.

@BRUUH Look at the way the Right reacts to programs that would help married couple have and raise kids. The Right that wants to help you have a trad life is a myth. The Right only cares about rich people.

@BohemianBabe I'm actually not reading the interaction the two of you just had. I feel like when I do i'm tempted to say stuff when i'd rather just have a heart to heart

As for your comment, I agree. Economically, I like social safety nets. I'm not an economist, but I do think the tribe has to take care of each other. I like much of what libs say.

As far as how the right wishes to acheive this? I only know how I do. Which might be authoritarianism. I think only the iron fist of the state can solve the problem at this point. I'm not even talking this way to troll, I really do believe this. Can't think of a better way to solve the problems now.
@BRUUH So look, I get the appeal of Authoritarianism. Imagine we had a president who wanted to do everything you want. They'd probably only get like 30% of their agenda through congress. Whereas a dictator could just do everything in their agenda. So yeah, I sympathize with this view. Here's the problem. When the Bolsheviks took over Russia and made Lenin the dictator, things were good. Lenin drastically raised the living standards of the average Russians. He did bad things too, dude was a mixed bag, but he did much more good than the Czars. However, when Lenin died, he was replaced with Stalin, a paranoid thug and an insane mass murderer. And because the Soviet Union had no checks and balances, there was no way to restrain Stalin. No democratic elections meant the Russians couldn't vote him out either. Dictatorship is great as long as we have a good dictator, but we never know who the next guy is gonna be. Plus, Authoritarianism creates a society where every disagreement is solved with violence. That's why there are so many purges in authoritarian governments.

Anyway, I hope you read all that. Democracy sucks, but it sucks less than every other form of government.

@Prison1203 We pay for domestic improvements by cutting wasteful military spending. Congress should require an annual independent audit of Pentagon spending. Also serious penalties for military contractors who over-charge.
Forcing corporations to pay their fair share of taxes. Many corporation effectively pay no or very little taxes because they have rigged the tax system so huge parts of their income is declared non-taxable.
Outlaw off-shore tax-havens for the wealthy and corporations.
Impose a small tax on transactions in securities. A quarter of one percent tax would bring in billions in revenue. such a tax would also help tamp down reckless actions by Wall Street, such as brought on the 2008 crash.

@BohemianBabe I'm not saying I enthusiastically want an authoritarian regime, just that the modern world is such a hell, that I might as well gamble with one to save it. Unless you have a solution on how we can have a world where 1)The environment is preserved, 2)we can be reasonably sure that our daughters and mothers aren't prostitutes (with the rise of onlyfans), and 3)The white race doesn't end up genocided when we become a minority.
@BRUUH
1)The environment is preserved

Vote for the most progressive candidates.

2)we can be reasonably sure that our daughters and mothers aren't prostitutes (with the rise of onlyfans)

We still disagree on sex work.

3)The white race doesn't end up genocided when we become a minority.

The higher the living standards, the less crime. So again, vote for the most progressive candidates.

By the way, don't you think white people would be safer under a democratic government? If you look at all of the genocides that have happened, virtually all of them have been in authoritarian governments. Which makes sense. Stalin was able to murder Ukrainians because as dictator, he didn't need the Ukrainian vote. The reason Republicans do the whole "Democrats are the REAL RACISTS" nonsense is because Republicans need support from black people. With all of the Nazis in the GOP, I'm sure they would like to genocide the darkies, but they can't as long as they need to win elections.
