Trump vs The United States

[media=https://youtu.be/ASVxe9DomjU]

The Supreme Court made another outrageous decision yesterday, ruling that Trump has immunity for acts committed while in office. This decision is a huge danger to democracy. The President MUST be accountable to the law and the People. Otherwise, he is a dictator.

The Supreme court is out of control. Congress needs to impose a strong code of conduct on all Supreme Court justices. Further, congress should create term limits for Supreme Court justices.

You mean like presidents ignoring Supreme Court decisions on paying student loans, or some other president?

Opening the borders
DEAD WRONG!! Biden was bound by Title 42, same as Trump, until it expired a year ago.

His EV actions were the decisions
THAT NEEDED TO BE TAKEN.

The infrastructure structure activity is a joke
A trillion on infrastructure is what Trump promised and failed to deliver. Biden delivered, Deal with it.

Shutting down the pipelines is one the most
DEAD WRONG AGAIN!! Biden didn't shut down a SINGLE pipeline!! He revoked construction permits on a pipeline that would've taken years to complete and only benefited Canadian oil companies.

And I'm just getting started and tired of your ignorance.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@ElwoodBlues And we are so tired of your bullschiff. Go back to selling bridges
badminton · 61-69, MVIP
@sunsporter1649 Now that would be irony.
Those of you who aren't planning on voting, remember this. Trump, who wants to be a dictator and will have Project 2025, is going to have full immunity from the SCOTUS.
redredred · M
Cops have immunity
Prosecutors have immunity
Legislators have immunity
Governors have immunity
Judges have immunity

If it weren’t Trump you wouldn’t object to immunity for presidents.
redredred · M
@ElwoodBlues And that’s exactly what SCOTUS ruled so chill out.
@redredred Agreed, so stop trying to distort the truth by dropping the crucial word 'qualified.'
redredred · M
@ElwoodBlues I made no such distortion, I simply used the common shorthand everyone uses.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
Yeah the US needs to hold its presidents accountable. I think they could start with Clinton and his Waco fiasco. GWB would be up on charges for his actions in Iraq and Afghanistan. Obama should be charged with murder for his drone attacks. Trump should be charged for going after the Iranian general. Biden well how about genocide it Palestine and Ukraine.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@pdockal Tell you what son. Why don't you prove me wrong. Was Clinton president when Waco happened? Was it his officials who ordered the massacre? Blink once for yes or twice for no. When you finally grasp that one we will go on to discuss Afghanistan and GWB.

CONGRESS NEEDS TERM LIMITS FIRST

we have 3 branches of government to keep them ALL in check
Just because you disagree doesn't mean anything @ all

each justice was put thru a rigorous process which the president & congress have roles in
Guess your clueless on government and their limitations & duties

@badminton

I never said anything about the constitution
I said CONGRESS can't
I also said congress NEEDS term limits before the Supreme Court

But congress & the president appointed each member
If you think the supreme court justices are inept & incompetent then blame congress & the process

However what makes you judge & jury ?
pdockal · 56-60, M
@Gibbon

Most of THEM jump to conclusions
Most of THEM can't handle truth
Most of THEN say everybody is entitled to an opinion as long as it is the one they provide

WRONG, YOU IJIT!!

Biden is following guidelines passed by Congress and signed into law by George W. Bush in 2007. It's called the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program. Nothing unconstitutional about that law. You should really look it up some time, ijit!!
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@ElwoodBlues So the president is now in charge of disbursing the peoples money, eh? Where is that in The Constitution?
@sunsporter1649 Loan forgiveness isn't disbursement. That's why Trump was able to forgive $700 billion in PPP loans, ijit!!

@ElwoodBlues So college has been determined to be another branch of the government, eh?

"To be eligable you must be employed by a U.S. federal, state, local, or tribal government or qualifying not-for-profit organization (federal service includes U.S. military service);

work full-time for that agency or organization;

have Direct Loans (or consolidate other federal student loans into a Direct Loan);

repay your loans under an income-driven repayment plan or a 10-year Standard Repayment Plan; and
make a total of 120 qualifying monthly payments that need not be consecutive."

Sounds like Dark Brandon just got a green light for some wet work to me.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
As an official act that Biden cannot be held accountable for, he should issue an Executive Order that no convicted felon is eligible for the presidency. SCOTUS just ruled official acts have complete immunity.
AthrillatheHunt · 51-55, M
You already lived through 4 years of his dictatorship. What’s another 4?

@Gibbon I was trying to show him the fallacy in his argument . Lol
congress should create term limits for Supreme Court justices.

Unless of course, there is a 6 - 3 liberal majority. 🤣 You people slay me. 😂
AthrillatheHunt · 51-55, M
@Gibbon he gave her a pass , as he should have .

@Gibbon the ole 9th circuit (in San Fran) has always been an ace in the hole for Dems .

It's not a "decision". It's the LAW. The LAW! 🤭

@allygator18 Yes, it is, because interactions with the Secret Service are core responsibilities of the President. Biden would personally be immune from prosecution. Whether the person or people implimenting the criminal action could be prosecuted is an open question, but they might be.

@allygator18 Biden has no plans to use the new kingly powers SCOTUS has bestowed on him. But if Trump somehow ends up in the White House, get ready for immeasurable carnage.
