I remember a time when talking politics was fun and interactive. Exchanging view points, making fun of each other respectfully. Having a cold beer while playing some pool with different people ideologies....critical thinking about issues and their perspectives.....what happened?

I remember back in high school 2004 when message boards were popular, and people would get into heated arguments about George Bush. So you can go back 20 years and see that it's nothing new.
