@jefferson I think it is a matter of safe from what? No people in the world pose a threat to Americans. The only time we were attacked was by the Japanese. They tried to take out the US Navy by bombing our warships in Hawaii. It was to prevent us from attacking them. While people have no issues with other people, nations are always at odds with one another. This is because they all vie for more powerful and venture beyond their own borders to project power.
